[sup-takl] how to search for archived mailed?

I have accidentally archived few mails. I'd like to look for them and move them back to inbox.

The query I tried was 

-label:inbox 

but it gives exactly the same results as

label:inbox

So question1: What is the query for email which is not in the inbox?

Additionally there's a source code comment in /lib/sup/index.rb suggesting label inbox and few others are special, so question2: how do I move an email back to inbox?
