B.P.I.,

Wells College is hosting a student-sponsored Symposium to promote
activism, encourage critical thinking and find links between the
academy and the world at large. Our theme is Equality/Equity--Get the
difference?!. We want to encourage people to question and promote
difference in terms of race, class, gender, disability, religion, and
other identity markers.

Also, Rosa Clemente will be this years keynote speaker.

We want to put student activism in the Central New York and NYC area
on the map by networking, coalition-building and exchanging ideas.

It's all free too! Simply commit one or more members to come and
participate in our informal networking at lunchtime.  Lodging and
other details can be arranged.

Attached is the application for presentations, just in case anyone is
interested in presenting.

For more information contact is cbed...@Wells.edu or me at
cge...@wells.edu, or visit the website (Warning! It's still under
construction!) at symposium.wells.edu.

Thanks.

Christine Gentry
