Hi guys and gals,

Ten years have gone by so fast. Hope you're all doing well. I was wondering if anyone had started thinking about putting together a class reunion. Just putting feelers out to see if anyone might be interested in planning something with me. It would be really nice to catch up and see each other again.

Hello!

On Saturday, April 1st at the Hard Rock Cafe on Times Square, Punktum Remotum will be playing some songs with some current SUNY-O student musicians for a benefit concert supporting New Eyes For The Needy, a non-profit group that distributes new and used prescription eyewear throughout the world.  Maybe we can tie in a portion of our 10 year reunion with that event?  In addition to this, It may be nice to plan a meet up during Vision Expo week at a quieter venue where we can all hear each other talk!  It might get a bit loud at Hard Rock, especially with Mayur playing drums!

Hi Grace,

I would be more than happy to help!  Someone mentioned awhile back that it's usually sponsored by a company like Alcon, etc??  Do you know anything about this?

I've heard SUNY puts on a 10 year reunion for every class, but it's usually mixed in with 5 year and 15 year reunion....

I second the idea of scheduling it during vision expo weekend. That way out of towners can credit the hotel/travel to an educational trip account ;)

Thought I live in NYC, I like how you think Karen ;).  I'm for vision expo time as well.  Hopefully I can get to the Hard Rock to see Punktum as well!

Scott, your concert sounds like fun!  Can't wait to see you guys play again.
Terry, thank you thank you!  If we're going to aim for VEE, we need to put our heads together soon.
Karen, Lou, Seema, thanks for the feedback.
Cliff, CONGRATS!  (I kind of want to do a large playdate for kids of all ages at my friend's kidville location on the upper westside. But I have to see if we can pull it off and get funding for it).  Traveling with a newborn sounds scary but is actually waaaaay easier than traveling with a toddler (or two).

I thought about contacting Alcon, Vistakon, etc., and the alumni association to see how to get things started.  Will try to call Ann Warwick tomorrow and see if I can get some info.  Vision Expo is coming up soon so hopefully we can pull something together.
