Hi there, I just installed spiceworks last week and am feeling my way through it. On my dashboard on the Security pane, it shows two antivirus packages that are detected: Sophos, which we are using currently and is up-to-date, and it also shows 35 computers running Webroot Anti=Spyware Enterprise with Anti-virus. I was able to pull up the results list of computers that are reporting Webroot, but they don't have Webroot installed, nor are the services still running on that PC.
From what I've read so far, Spiceworks uses the Windows Security Center to detect antivirus and up-to-date-edness, so I'm thinking that when I deployed Sophos and it removed Webroot, that it didn't remove it from the Windows Security Center.

When you figure out which one is the incorrect one simply click Delete and close all the boxes. Run a spiceworks scan again and the problem should be solved.
i have the same problem. we used to have trendmicro and we switched to symantec. now about 35 out of 300 machines are showing in the configuration tab both antivirus software programs but under the software tab there is only symantec installed. i looked in the registry and found nothing for trendmicro in there.
I found a post from 2019 here on the forum from a person with the same problem, saying that it solved the problem by turning off Anti-Banner and Private Browsing. I've tried disabling both, but nothing has changed. The only thing that stops this problem from happening is disabling the entire antivirus.

I start watching any video, and after a few minutes of playback a message appears saying that the video cannot be played. Error code 241001 usually appears. The only thing that stops this problem from happening is disabling the entire antivirus.
