All the resolutions in the world won't move that rock head Mica.  Nor will all the resolutions in the world put 10 cents in Amtrak's budget.  Inflation since Hurricane Katrina, and Congress itself, have made it impossible to put the Sunset back as it was BHK.

This is good news, however, if the cities can convince the non-Micas in Congress to adequately fund Amtrak, which he's demonstrated he's reluctant (being charitable) to do.

I'm ready to take the Sunset to Florida right now.

Pensacola was a hold out and refused to pass a resolution when nearly all other online cities did so. Now that pretty much makes every city between New Orleans and Orlando (inclusive) that have asked for the train back.
