Sunrise Board Member Communications

One of the things I did several years ago when I was the VP of PR for the TM Board was set-up a Board email address.  (sunrise...@googlegroups.com) 

 

This group email address provides several benefits:

 

1.       Email 1 address contact all board members.

2.       Add / Remove Emails at any time.

3.       All emails kept in central email on Google, you can refer back to any time, doesn’t matter if you delete them from your personal email.   

4.       All accounts we agree as a Board to sign-up for (i.e. Meet-up) can we be defaulted to this address for sign-up and therefore it’s not stuck to someone’s personal email and lost in transition of board members.

 

Tim was on the old email from the board and all the old board members have been removed.  Let me know if you would like see us use this service and I will add all the current board members to the google group.

That sounds perfect.  And I guess my name will be removed as I no longer serve as board member.  Always want to be in a position of contribution though.  Once I get through this TEDx presentation I'd love to contribute to the newsletter.

I was watching the new members but didn’t send a message because I didn’t know how it would appear. I thought it should come from the group administrator. It looks like we will get a few new members from this so this should be a great marketing tool.
