Hi,

I am new to sunPy and using it to do my internship project. I want to create a GUI calculator for CryoNIRPS instrument but I don't know how to connect Tk or PyQt with sunPy. I have created a separate file for sunPy and import it into Tkinter script file and I am getting two separate windows instead of one. One of them is root Tk window and the other window is for sunPy map. Is there any way I can integrate both sunPy and Tk or PyQt work together in one same window instead of separate windows?

Your response will be highly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Kape,

I've just commented on your question on the Google+ post. I believe you are not using properly the interaction between matplotlib and tk. If you change the example in the maplotlib gallery (https://matplotlib.org/examples/user_interfaces/embedding_in_tk.html)  you probably will make it work.

When asking to the mailing list, it is more helpful if you link to a gist (http://gist.github.com/) or github (http://github.com) repository where you have the code.

Have a wonderful day,
David
