May 7th Sunday, DOE sent a HAZMAT spill response team out to investigate
proposed Options School site.
Many rusty barrels of hazardous materials being stored outside, in violation
of State / Federal laws. Good work Greg!
One rusty barrel, only out 4 years, still had a label: Naptha. Industrial
solvent. Useful to dissolve coatings on 10" gas pipes. Probable carcinogen
also.
Barrels were mysteriously removed on Tuesday along with big steel containers
also probably full of more toxic waste. Will the State fine the School
District?
I am sure the School district considers this a PR problem rather than an
actual health risk to innocent children's and staff;s health, let alone
Sunnyland
neighbors.
Expect more Crickets from our Council person who literally lives across the
street. Wait for an apology the Superintendent.
Construction Bids open today!
I am guessing $15 million? What is your best guess!
Pretty photos and commentary, sprinkled with random facts.
