Hi friends!
One street from Fillmore and Haight Streets. Super close to the Page Street Community Garden, Samovar Tea, the San Francisco Zen Center. Blocks from the Wiggle, the N Judah, the J Church, Golden Produce & Market, Whole Foods, Safeway, Alamo Square, the Panhandle, the Octavia Street park / beirgarten / Smitten ice cream.
I have two housing opportunities for you to chew on and share with people who you know are moving / on the hunt.
About the house:
Beautiful and rent-controlled 4 bedroom Victorian in Lower Haight (Page + Webster) with stained glass, high ceilings, massive back deck, basement storage, on-site laundry, and views of downtown.
About the roommates: Two darling bakers (a couple) in their early 20s, a voguing anthropologist in his early 30s
1) Temporary Sublet for a furnished, giant bedroom. Comes with a sinfully comfortable queen bed, wooden desk, bookshelf, dresser, keyboard, massive closet, and views of the city. Plenty of books to peruse and read. Available mid-September through the end of October (dates flexible). Rate is negotiable, but I'm looking for $1150.
2) Talk to us about moving in! We have a bedroom opening up in mid-September (dates flexible), unfurnished but with the option to buy some of my roomie's furniture. Rent is $775, including utilities.
No worries -- all this moving is on good, friendly terms. I am spending the fall in Boulder, CO and my best friend / roommate is also taking off on an adventure and then moving in with her long-time lover.
Lastly, if you have any leads for sublets / housesitting opportunities in Boulder, CO -- let me know! Little blurb attached. We haven't had a ton of luck yet with Craigslist, AirBnB, VRBO...
