What happens with daemon

Hello, i am working on onlinejudge and expand it to a wider assessment
tool.
Can anyone tell me in which case it happens that the daemon judges
several times simultaneously?
What I did: I wanted a file to be rejudged and changed
`mdl_assignment_oj_submissions` in one single "judge" from 1 to 0.
Everytime cpp.sh is called I log it into a logfile (read with tail -f
logfile.txt) and I see that the logfile isnt logging sequentially but
instantly.

Do I need to delete the apache cache in order to develop on
assignment.class.php?

I can't understand it well. Do you mean the daemon judges one submission several times simultaneously?

What does the "instantly" mean? Why should the log be delayed?

Normally, you just need to restart the judge daemon. But if you are using a php accelerator, you must refresh the cache. Until now, I never met any problems about the apache cache.
