Getting the right information into the right hands:
Transparency and Open data for the Post-2015 Agenda
WHEN: Thursday 10 July at 1.15-2.45pm

UN Development Cooperation Forum, New York
This event will create a multi-stakeholder dialogue on how transparency, open data and accountability enhance the impact of the Post-2015 agenda and its means of implementation. It will showcase existing initiatives on how open data provides a tool for governments, international financial institutions and civil society to monitor and better coordinate finance for development resources.
In conversation with the audience, we will also discuss what can be done in order to make transparency and open data an effective tool to achieve sustainable development outcomes. We will further explore how this can be built into the post-2015 development agenda.
