   In continuation of the mail sent by me on 20th and the talk over the phone following it with the society manager,who spoke on behalf of the treasurer,I  once again request you to remind that no instruction was given till October end 2012,regarding where the payment of the maintenance bill should be done by us ..Hence we continued with our practice of sending the same to powai developers..On this issue,MR Balan had clearly mentioned in  a mail sent on2nd  Nov 2012, that we  had already paidOctober 2012 bill to  POWAI DEVELOPERS and had asked for guidance for payments in the future.

      TO this we got a reply that November payment should be made to the society and there wasn't any comment on October payment.

                               In a   mail from  Mr Rajiv Nawaskar on 4th Dec 2012  regarding  mode of payment for the period Oct2012-Dec 2012,it was clearly mentioned that those who have already paid October bill toRahejas ,pl pay the remaining balance amount  to the society only.,

      As we didn't receive any instruction from the society to retrieve Otober payment from Rahejas and pay it to Sungrace.,it is very clear that we have followed the instruction of the society ,and there is no question of default.                                  Two years have lapsed now and to get back the amount from Rahejas now is like chasing an impossible thing.I request ,a society Sungrace should communicate with Rahejas and get back the money.

      Hence ,I will be paying only  the difference amount of Rs 1530 from for the period Oct2012-March 2013   along with this months bill.                                       Regards

Dear Sirs,
It appears that prompt payment of the monthly dues was after all a mistake!
( folks who paid their dues a month or two late did not have to put up
with this problem)
I used to pay the dues to Powai developers promptly after receiving
the monthly statement, every month
I did that( before the formation of our Society ) and the last
payment to Powai developers(in oct 2012 ) is shown as outstanding in
my monthly account statement received from our Society a few days ago
Obviously this is a transmission loss
Let us now find a way out to resolve this issue
Ofcourse we are prepared to provide all the documentary evidences of
our payment to Powai developers ( that's the easy part)
Please let us know if any other additinal information is required

It appears I am not the only one having this problem. From what Messrs Balan, Sanatani are writing ,there is definitely a 'transmission' or 'transition' problem. I feel where proof of payment to Powai Developers  is available, the Society should not treat this as outstanding and instead attempt to recover from Powai Developers as a body instead of individuals breaking their heads over it.Several times, we were confronted with 'arrears' which did not tally with our own calculations, but in the larger interest of ' settling things' once and for all we paid up.But it seems, unfortunately,  the problem is still not sorted out.

Society needs to look into this.
