If you are not living under a rock you must be knowing what Chat GPT is, if not it is capable of generating human-like text and has a wide range of applications, including language translation, language modelling, and generating text for applications such as chatbots. It is one of the largest and most powerful language processing AI models to date, with 175 billion parameters.

So now that being said let's dive deep into this....firstly there's nothing to be scared to Chat GPT or any other AI System, these are developed to help humans and not replace them. I'm a data analyst and pursuing software development as well, being from the IT Field a lot of myths and rumors were spread that our jobs are in danger, Chat GPT will replace us but that's not the reality.

Instead Chat GPT increases humans productivity and efficiency, for eg: I had to runs a query in SQL which was lengthy so to save time I ran the basic query on Chat GPT so I don't have to type that much and made customizations according to my requirements. Another example: My mother is a tuition teacher, she wanted to make test for her students of different classes........just gave commands to Chat GPT and boom !! had question paper for all of them ready in 15-20 mins.

Similarly you can use Chat GPT to your advantage and not be scared of it. While Chat GPT and other AI systems have the potential to automate certain tasks and make certain jobs obsolete, it is important to consider how the implementation of AI can be done in a way that is beneficial for both businesses and workers. Additionally, it is important to consider the impact of AI on different industries and communities, and to take steps to mitigate potential negative effects and support those who may be impacted by job loss.

I have a 250 gallon sprayer with a boomjet 5880 boomless nozzle setup on it. I'm just not a big fan of the boomless setup and with any wind the spray pattern just isn't reliable at all. It looks like the sprayer has brackets if it was ordered with a boom, but I don't even know what make or model it is. I'm probably just failing at searching, but I haven't really had any luck coming across just generic boom arms. I don't mind losing width to get a more reliable spray.

I have done this. I just weld up some brackets and bolt a boom on. I don't know where you can buy a boom. I have found them cheap at auctions but they can be built from square tubing and various parts from shoup or some other farm supplier. Thx-Ace

Get a kit and clamp the brackets onto some square tubing. There are clamps for various size tubing so watch that. I would recommend 1 1/4" tubing for a boom. Look at a Teejet chart to get the right tips depending on speed, pressure and nozzle spacing to get the right tips.

AgSpray has booms in various widths. I bought a 28' a couple years ago, seems like the complete setup w/ nozzles and all was about $700. It would be easy for you to fab up some brackets to attach the boom. Their website is www.agspray.com. I don't know what shipping to Alaska will cost, though...

Times 3 on this. My buddy has a jd self propelled 4930. It is high flow sprayer so has 2 flow controls and such instead of one. He was spraying fungicide at 12 mph 15 gals an acre with 120 ft boom. His low flow would come up on computer in cab and shut him down. He cleaned every visible screen. He runs treated rural water system only in his sprayer. Took sprayer to JD they thought they had it fixed but problem was right back. He looked and took a panel down a secondary screen was plugged. Only problem was he was spraying insecticide also so you douse yourself cleaning stuff. I run well water in my sprayer that settles out in a holding tank first. Have nothing but trouble with sand plugged nozzles all year. Chemical places here will provide treated water if you buy chemical from them you never have problems with city or treated water.

I use city water, but there is a lot of trash from setting or previous owner thinking about taking tips off and flushing lines there is always trash in filters but not plugged by any means. But maybe just enough

Another thing is some fungicides and thicker weed pesticides will gum up screens when it dries after sprayer shutdown. You should always have a fresh water flush tank to rinse your system when finished with field to clean booms , pump and nozzles.

Atrazine will get you good if your not careful i know that much. My sprayer doesnt have a rinse tank but i rigged up a garden hose fitting near my pump. Hook up the hose and open the valve. Walk away for 15 minutes or so. Always works for me id like to add a small tank but not much room on mine for it

i used round up, 24d, various pesticides and they all will clog up the tips/screens etc if you let it dry in the tank or nozzles and hoses, its a nightmare to get it all cleaned out and once you do, rinse that sucker out with fresh water after each use and since you are in KY make sure you run some antifreeze thru it this fall or you will break a lot of things and have to rebuild next year

I use a tank cleaner like incide out or erase at the end of the season and when I switch from corn to beans. It really helps. I have a summers 90 ft pull type that has 2 rinse nozzles at the top of the tank that really spin and cover 95% of the tank. This sprayer has triple nozzle bodies which I use to clean jets in the spring. I put 200 gallons of clean water in the tank then turn on 1 section at a time. Turn the triple body 1/6th of a turn which will stop flow to that nozzle. Unscrew nozzle and remove screen and use the nozzle next to it as a pressure washer to clean nozzle, cap and screen. Then turn body back 1/6th turn to let clean water flow thru the diaphragm for a few seconds. Then turn body, reassemble nozzle and turn it back on. Repeat for all nozzles. Then clean all screens/filters and I rarely have nozzles plug. Must clean screens in line to booms daily or at least before switching chemicals. I like harness xtra for a pre on conventional corn and I add atrazine with the balance flex for RR corn and have gotten by good. The cleaner the sprayer is before you start makes a huge difference. Also add rv antifreeze in the fall before storage, it seems to help keep all the crud from drying out too much. Good luck!

There was about 5gal or so of round up/24d left in tank. I was going to spray corn so I didn't rinse. mixed with 395gal. Round up mix then sprayer crashed, saved most of the spray in a ru tote from neighbor. Don't know if it's that little bit of 24d or maybe that white stuff is atrazen that is rehydrating

Not sure what options there are down there for tank cleaners. When I custom sprayed we always used a tank cleaner on the first rinse and then two tank rinses after that when switching products. Talked to a few guys that ran into issues with refine (can't remember active ingredient) but lots of the granular stuff gave issues. If you really want to clean the tank and filters, use some Liberty. It works great for cleaning everything out just make sure to rinse thoroughly after.

The lift was being used by a man to inspect the steeple of the First Presbyterian Church at 21st and Walnut Streets. The operator was steering the machine, which was telescoped to its full 120ft (37 metres) height, when one of the wheels went over an electrical cable manhole cover which gave way.

Witnesses say that the lift, a recent model JLG 1200SJP owned by Interstate Aerials, tilted over, recovered sending the boom the other way it tilted again and the second time went over, with the boom striking a building opposite before landing on a parked utility truck. The operator was wearing a harness and was left suspended from his lanyard.

This is a very rare type of accident, a boom such as this will sometime recover from such an incident and as long as the operator has a harness on he stands a good change of surviving.

Sadly he clearly had not seen the manhole cover on the ground before going up, or from the platform as he manoeuvred. Checking the ground conditions before driving such a machine from such a height is essential, and will normally prevent such an accident occurring.

Sad news, ive always thought it would be a problem with those types of MEWP, being able to move them so easily you could become complacent and not check the posistion of the wheels. I also feel MEWPS are dodgy when used in graveyards, sods law i would put a stabiliser leg over an old grave, it would collapse and over id go.

I'm not an expert on MEWPs by any means but wouldn't it be easier to lower it down to even half height to transport it/shift position? It wouldn't take that much longer would it? Is that correct protocol for these? Surely moving anything at 120ft extension is going to have trouble remaining stable?
