Yes, the intention of this timer is to be as clean and simple as possible. As for changing the seconds, you can do that in the EXTENDED version or in the APP, which also has some other extra features. Tnx for your comment!
As for suggestion, we might implement it in the future. For now, maybe you can try this:
1. Add an extra monitor besides timer, there you can type something using word processor, or use some appropriate program for typing messages
2. Make timer smaller (use ESC to exit fullscreen display), adjust the size of timer and then use a the other part of the screen for messages to the presenter.
My only suggestion is that when the timer is reset with the Delete key that it would go back to the previously set time as almost all of our talks over two days were 15 minutes in length rather than the default 10 minutes. But it is easy to increase/decrease the time so that was only a very minor inconvenience.
Hi and thank you. I dont see a problem here, if I understand you correctly. On one monitor you will be running a full screen timer and on other (extended desktop) monitor, you have your presentation. It is allready being done like that on numerous TEDx presentations, as it was on ours. Best
I currently use the Apimac timer for my Anatomy lab exams because of one feature it has. It can be set to make a sound then automatically reset and start counting down again each time it finishes a countdown cycle. There are a number of things I do not like about the product, but that feature works and is necessary for my application. Does you timer have this feature? If so I would be interested.
Hi Steve, thanks for your comment and suggestion. The Nano version of the timer uses a very similar function to this, where the circle changes color not the numbers. This way it is visually more appealing. Best
Hello I was trying ti find a desktop background type count down timer which can be pushed to some 800 employees computer centrally. (The timer should be displayed on desktop background and will not affect users files, folders and other work. Pop up etc are sometimes annoying so was trying to find desktop background based timer.
Hi Mary, thank you so much for your kind comment! Yes, you get extra features in the PRO version you can get here: -timer-pc-mac/. You can purchase more than one license at a discount price. Thanks again and all the best.
Hi Igor. I just found you timer and it really looks impressive. However, I want to know whether it can be included in a Keynote presentation. I need the timer to appear on a slide for activities during class.
Hey Igor, Awesome timer! Thank you very much! I use it at our startup pitch events.
Is there a way to reset the timer to a previously set position => our pitchs are always 7 min. long. When I reset the timer it always goes back to 10 min.
Am I missing something? Thanks a lot!
Sorry for the late reply, missed the comment.
1) yes
2) to do this you will need another timer, where you can run multiple instances at the same time and it supports what you need: -timer-pro-sale
Hope this answered your questions. Best
Is there a way to have the countdown timer always display over any screen? I have minimized it to the way I need it but just want it to always be on top while I work. Thank you and this tool is absolutely amazing 10/10 would recommend.
Does anyone have a good countdown clock for my computer desktop? I'd love to see the cruise date approaching every time I turn on my computer, but I'm not at ALL a computer expert and I don't know wherer to look. Thanks.
This article focuses on the Countdown timer web part, which allows you to display a count down (or count up) to an event. You can add a title, set the date format, add a description, and a call to action button with a link.
Hello all, of all things I've been tasked with coming up with a way to display a New Years Eve countdown clock on the desktops of all company computers. Most of the free screen-savers I've attempted to try out are being caught by our security software even though the manufacturer claims their downloads are virus free. Does anyone on here have any experience with this? Perhaps a VB script or something that can be customized. Thanks...
I'm beginning to think that a .vbs pushed to all PC's start up folders might be the way to go here. I'm playing around with x=msgbox ("Countdown to New Year!" ,64, "Countdown to New Year!") but now I need to figure the countdown clock aspect.
Thank you so much for your feedback and so sorry for the inconvenience!
We had an issue with the cache on our servers for the countdown timer app.
The fix is ready however, it's under QA review and will be pushed shortly to resolve your problem.
Hi Tom,
I would like to also add a countdown timer to an event landing page but absolutely have no idea on how to do this. The countdown is to the upcoming GDPR date, 25th May and would like to add this to the event landing page. -partner-forum-deadline-day-and-beyond#register-form
Here are some ideas for a countdown clock:
I'm trying to create a timer that counts down in years, months, days, hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds. I've found a few guides online, but they are sort of not easy to understand, or do not do the milliseconds. Can anyone help me do something like this, say, for this friday at 13:30.
If your countdown timer has to be more accurate than one day and you live in a country which has summertime switching during summer months (i.e. Europe, USA or other), you possibly will have to consider that 12:00 h local time today (November) and 12:00h local time in July are not within the same timezone, so perhaps the countdown time is not to be calculated:
It is a wedding-timer, but it would imo be a pity if you stopped using such a clock, once you're married.
If you'd like, you could configure it to enter/show multiple events like "still x seconds until the holidays",
"Still legally responsible for kid x for y days" and other reminders as well.
I think if the countdown timer reaches zero, it can automatically become a count up timer, showing the time since marriage. Or maybe next countdown starts and shows the time left until next wedding day.
I have a countdown timer that works on desktop and android device but when I use iphone to view the countdown, it shows NaN NaN NaN for the timer. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Thank you for taking your time to help me. Unfortunately after changing "-" to "/". The timer across desktop, android and iphone appears NAN NAN NAN. Before editing, it was only iphone safari has the NAN NAN NAN on the timer. But still very appreciated the help!
- I am not sure if other users are experiencing the same issue but I find that the seconds countdown is just a little slow. Definitely not like in the youtube video link in the op. Would it be possible to also adjust the speed of the countdown? I thought that maybe my vessel was too big and had too many parts which might have slowed down the countdown. However, I experienced the same slowness with a very basic and tiny rocket.
Now here's a hypothetical question dealing with the countdown clock and Mechjeb regarding "Timed" launches" (For example in order to meet up with a space station or a luanch window. to say another planet (Say DUna For example)
Regarding the countdown, I am getting an approximate 1.5-2 second lag between the seconds on the countdown clock and since the sound/voice sequence seems to be triggered by the countdown clock it stutters the fun immersion experience.
I have actually tried it out with all the different countdowns and have encountered the approximate 1 second wait that you mentioned in the previous post. I have the sound button/toggle enabled in the settings. I also do not have any timewarp mods installed. Thanks for your help!
Please try it again with the Apollo countdown, using a handheld stopwatch. Start the stopwatch at the 35 second mark (I believe that is when the countdown starts), and at 0, record how far off it is from the actual.
All the countdowns are cool, but i dont like it. these websites are lame. 260 days going down once a day make me feels like it takes forever. I started counting seconds until the game releases, and i couldn't find a countdown that would do seconds. thats when i decided to make my own countdown clock. I gave it an RDR background and logo, made it count seconds. Then i decided to add some script that goes through random quotes from the first game and went to the RDR wikia page and stole some of their quotes, then i added links to Here and Newswire and to the first two trailers. then i sat on it for days because i figured you guys wouldnt care but I got 10 likes in general chat so i figure more than two of you want this thing and as we pass the first 1,000,000 seconds since the release date was announced (Down to 22,003,000 at the time of writing) i figure ill share it:
