As oppose to my previous NK2View utility, which made the changes simply by removing and injecting bytes on the existing NK2 file, NK2Edit reads the entire NK2 file into memory, analyzes all records and fields, and then when you choose to save the file, it writes all records into the file, including all the changes that you made. Writing the entire content into the file decreases the risk of getting a corrupted NK2 file and ensures that the NK2 file will be saved as healthy file that can be used by Outlook.
i love bulkfilechanger its a great APP or Software specially for Photos,i have more control of them,one question,I see the square to ADD time (Years,Months,Days,Hours minutes,seconds etc etc) but i do not see another for substracting time,am i missing something to do this action,i have the V1 20 version,please let me know about this question Thank you Alberto
NK2Edit edits the "auto-complete" entries in Microsoft Outlook. Auto-complete is a useful feature to automatically suggest items based on the first few letters of the recipient, but over time can gather invalid or unwanted contacts. The name comes from the .NK2 file extension Outlook saves this email list to.
A 64-bit version (only for using with Outlook 2010/2013 64-bit) is available.
NK2Edit is a small and lightweight utility, which enables you to edit files with an .NK2 extension, which are created by Outlook. The files are used by the 'AutoComplete' feature that helps you in completing an email addresses or contact details in Outlook.As Outlook does not provide any ability to edit the 'AutoComplete' list, the NK2Edit utility is a useful tool.
Key Features Include:
- With NK2Edit you can construct a new NK2 file and add the desired emails into it, by typing them manually, by adding them from your address book, or by copying records from another NK2 source.
- NK2Edit allows you to extract data from corrupted NK2 files, which Outlook cannot read any more and then repair them.
- Export all data stored in the NK2 file into a special Unicode text file in a structure similar to .ini file of Windows. You can open it with a text editor, make the changes you require and then convert it back into an NK2 file that Outlook can use.
NK2Edit is a portable application that can be used from any computer with Windows operating system (Starting from Windows 2000) without need of any installation process and without making changes in the Registry.
