Save the Trees - The drought is affecting our trees. The best way to water them is by placing a soaker hose over the 2 to 3 foot area that straddles the tree’s dripline. The dripline is the circle drawn on the ground below the tree’s widest branches. Trees can help keep our homes cool especially when shading an outdoor AC compressor. The energy saved also reduces pollution from the avoided electric generation.
