Folks,

Please find attached a spreadsheet with nominated books.  I have also pasted the list into the body of the email. If you can respond by populating the spreadsheet, that is optimal.  But you can send votes any way that is convenient for you.

Voting works like this:  Each member can assign a value to each book.  Values range from -5 (very low enthusiasm for the  book) up to +5 (strong enthusiasm for the book). Any number in that range can be assigned to a given book.  Once I've received the votes, I add them all up, and rank the books.  This time we will select about 12 books , which I will then assign to our schedule.

Let's allow two weeks for voting, so Tuesday (July 13) at midnight is the deadline for submitting your votes.  As always, you can send votes directly to me, in which case they are confidential, or to the entire group.

A final note. Two weeks is ample time to research the books on the list. We are fortunate to have access to reviews, or even samples of the books. Let’s all perform our due diligence, and be informed voters!

Thanks

Michael Brewer
