Hi All, I'm looking to do my own maitenence for my '14 Acura ILX, and wanted to get ahold of a service manual. After Googling quite a bit, and then calling several dealerships, I found out Honda does not make factory service manuals for newer vehicles. It seems like my only option is to subscribe to Service Express on techinfo.honda.com. The pricing for this ($50/month) is definately not aimed at a weekend mechanic.
The Owners Manual from Honda points you to www.helminc.com to order the service manual. The manual is $50 bucks, but they charge an additional $28.75 in shipping and handling fees, for a paper document. Ridiculous and I decided not to get it.
I also reached out to Haynes manuals, and they told me the following "Haynes has stopped producing new print manuals for both cars and motorcycles. There may be a new online product produced in the future that will contain other/newer models of motorcycles, however I'm unable to say when this would be."
I've got a copy of the 2021-2022 Honda factory service manual for the CRF300L/LR. I've posted some service information for the bike based on the service manual as well as some service information for the CBR250R, which is applicable. Yeah, that and the CBR250R oil and filter change doc and the CBR250R valve adjustment doc. The procedures are the same, except for removing body panels and other parts. The CBR300L/LR service info pdf has torque values listed as well as other information, such as removing the fuel tank.
Helm is a total ripoff. I live in Thailand and they wanted over $200 to ship it to me. I just downloaded a copy of the Honda Common Service Manual that covers other models in addition to the CRF300L. I have felt fully confident doing all service I have needed to do so far.

I would like to get maintenance manual for Honda Odyssey 2021. I looked up online, there are available for older models, I also read that Honda stopped producing these manuals, so it will not be available anymore.
AllDataDIY that people have mentioned does not have any 2021 Honda manuals at this time. Official Honda service manual would be preferred over this anyways. Independent shops probably have the shop version of AllData (note this is separate from AllDataDIY) (see AllDataRepair)

This is excellent news for many riders. Once upon a time, all popular motorcycles in the market had third-party manuals available as alternatives to expensive or unobtainable factory service manuals. If you were an independent moto mechanic, you likely had a shelf full of them at your shop. If you were a self-sufficient motorcyclist, you would buy one of these books from Chilton, Haynes, Clymer or other publishers to give you basic torque specs and other maintenance details along with detailed teardown and rebuild instructions, and wiring diagrams. But over the past 20 years, these books have started to disappear. Back in 2020, Haynes said it would publish no new-model manuals, and we see similar apathy from other publishers.
Dad still takes his 2019 CRV for dealer oil changes just as he did with his 2007 for the almost 13yrs he had it, still get price quotes from both places for major services but the independent has treated us so much better and is only a few minutes from where they live, compared to going across town.
I always use the Acura dealer for trans and differential service but have never done the 30k service. I either check the stuff and do it myself or they always look things over and suggest anything needing to be done. I would rather have the dealer do the 50 or 100 point inspection and take care of anything right then and there.
