wWhat Makes A Life Significant

Reading through this months articles I found myself repeated thinking
about significance and healing.

Maybe it's my love for problem solving and math tenacity, but
Significant Figures kept coming to mind.

A significant figure is a number whose digits carry meaning
contributing to its precision, carrying it out to some degree of
confidence.

The rounding of a significant figure, gives the number a more general
purpose.

Likewise, as human beings, we tend to strive for preciseness in
character, that which sets us apart...individualization if you will.
Yet we find comfort in generalization...a sense of belonging.

Another thing I pondered was, why is it that some are able to overcome
the challenges that come their way, while others withdraw from life?
Hence, when life gives lemons, not everyone can make lemonade...or
when life throws a curve ball why do some strike out?
