First, the confession; I don't remember if I was supposed to write the
questions for this Saturday.
Second, I perceive a theme that segues the January to February issue.
It goes something like this: To me the January issue was mostly about
victims. Now take a minute and look at the photo essay "Slab City".
Is it hard, or easy, to construct a narrative wherein the subjects of
the photos are victims?
How about a narrative in which the pictures are of you at some time in
the future?
What might happen in your life that would transport you from where
(who) you are now to one of those people pictured?
Does Brian Doyle provide an answer in "Selected Poems"?
