Based on June's Issue. Please think about and come prepared to discuss
these questions.

1. In "Reader's Write", is there one story you can particularly relate
to because of some event/events in your life? Please tell us your
story that is related to the "Taking Chance" story in this month's
issue.

2. In "Sunbeams", Kierkegaard is quoted as saying "To dare is to lose
one's footing momentarily. Not to dare is to lose onself." Do you
agree with his quote? In what areas are you currently having trouble
taking chances? Share with us. Particularly share with us the one or
two things you haven't mentioned to anyone and particularly if you
think they might be too mundane or embarrassing to mention. Take a
chance.

3. The theme this month is taking chances/being daring. What do you
think of British Petroleum's daring operation on the bottom of the sea
floor 1 mile under the ocean in the Gulf of Mexico? What do you think
we should do about it/them? What changes do you think should be made
with the way we as a society relate to oil companies as a result of
this situation? Do you think there will be changes come out of this?
Minor or major ones? Why or why not? Is there something we can/should
do as a result of this situation or should we let others handle it?
