I have re-created the group welcome page and also mentioned
a number of pointers including the one with the tentative list of
activities for this year . Please have a look and send the group your
feedbacks and suggestions regarding the activities this year.

Definitely. We can have a online coding contest on yearly basis. I am
already working on the site as well.

Actually BlueJ is still in the dark age compared to Netbeans. If you
dont know about Netbeans download it from http://www.netbeans.org/ and
attend the tech talk on Netbeans will soon be held.

Good to see a second year posting in this mailing list.

No. Install Netbeans and you shall surely see the difference.

Yes of course. Download Netbeans 6.7. it has all types of support for java se, c, c++, ruby, ruby on rails, web development, java me, java ee and what not.

How is Netbeans 6.7 ( if you have used it ).What are the enhancements over 6.5 . I guess the support for python and jython will be more extensive.

As far as i have seen there are lesser number of bugs. There is php5
also. Loading is faster.
