If install dgvoodoo to game folder it shows error initialising directx.
if rename d3d9.dll to required dll, then error can't find point of procedure.
Is it possible to use dgvoodoo with this game?

WRC2 or WRC4 - have links only to d3dx9_43.dll and no links to d3d9.dll.
dgvoodoo logo shown, but game still works in SDR mode and AutoHDR feature not enabled.
Installing dgvoodoo only adds logo.

But, if the logo appears then the game is definitely rendered through D3D11/12.
dgVoodoo cannot hook D3D9 (or any other DX version) and tag their logo to the screen, all it can do is completely replace them with its own implementation.

So, I don't know why autoHDR is not applied. Maybe it has sg to do with dynamically linking of D3D9 instead of static (I suppose there is no D3D9.dll in the executable import table, as you said).
Unfortunately I don't have x64 Win11 to try it out. My main PC is not eligible for that...

Some laptops or computers don't have this dll for some reason. You can get it online at places like: -files.com/d3dx9_43.dll.htmlThere are other sites, but I've found that this one works the most. After downloading the file for your computer (If it's for the 64/32 version or whatever you'd like it to be if it supports both), just insert the dll file into where the game location is.

As you can see (although this is a different game) I've added it directly into the area in which the game calls for the file. You may have multiple dll files that you need to add, but I doubt it. After running the game again, it should work (but you might have to reinstall because you might've crashed your game when you ran it last time. Try not reinstalling and just playing the game first though!) I have downloaded 3ds Max using the download manager and have installed it successfully. However, when I go to run it I get the error saying: This application has failed to start because d3dx9_43.dll was not found. Although it then says: Re-installing the application may fix this problem, I doubt that will work and was wondering if there are other solutions to the problem. I am trying to run the 64-bit version, by the way. I should also mention that this is a student version I downloaded.

I believe this is related more to your Direct X install then the Autodesk software. I see other users on the discussion groups have resolved the issue by installing the latest DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer -us/download/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

You were right, it worked. But now I'm trying to run the program on a different computer and I get the message: The program can't start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Would this also be the same directX problem? I tried doing the same thing as before, but when I run 3ds max, it still shows the same error message. The program itself is on an external hard drive, so I didn't download it again, if that helps. Also, this computer is Windows 7, where as the previous computer was Windows Vista.

I actually just figured out I had to download another the file from Microsoft, but now it says that the software license isn't checking out. Is that just because it can only run on one computer? The reason I had to change was because the vista computer was too slow so I couldn't work with it. If I download it directly from the education site again, will that make it work?

I recently downloaded Nestopia from GameEx Set-Up Screen and when i try to run the program it says "The Program cannot start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

The library file d3dx9_43.dll (dll - dynamic link library) is included in the package DirectX, which is a set of libraries for developing applications for Windows. Typically, Direct X is used to create graphics programs, so it can often be found in computer games, 3D editors, 3D models, demos, and other similar applications. Thus, you can face d3dx9_43.dll is missing error when trying to play some games, using 3D graphics applications, etc.

The factors that cause the problem of lack of d3dx9_43.dll usually arise in Windows 7 and 10. They are associated with failures in the DirectX itself, with the installation of some programs that change part of the system files, as well as with the dysfunction of the file structure of the hard disk.

Many viruses can also be involved in this, removing or replacing some important files. If you have regular glitches and glitches in the system, you receive a message that "You cannot run the program," it's time to check your PC for viruses, and scan the hard disk for broken clusters and other system errors.

Step 1. Do not rush to find the missing file on the network, download it and install it in the desired directory. Often, instead of the d3dx9_43.dll file, you can download some other Trojan that can harm your operating system. The easiest (and safest) way is to download the entire package of DirectX from the developer's site, and then install it on your computer. But before you download DirectX, try to restart the computer first.

Step 2. If, for some reason, the installation of the new DirectX did not fix the d3dx9 43.dll error, you can try to download a special version of DirectX End-User Runtimes, which is customized for games and supports all the richness of multimedia content.

Step 4. If the above actions did not help, then you can search this file on the Internet, download it, and then put it in the Windows\System32 directory, after having checked the downloaded file with a powerful antivirus. But again, a custom antivirus does not always help, so the risk remains.

Thus, in the majority of cases, the error with d3dx9_43.dll can be easily eliminated by downloading the latest version of Direct X. If, for some reason, this did not help, you can search this file on the web and install it in the system directory at the address given above. However, usually, the option with reinstalling DirectX solves this problem without difficulty.

Do not download the d3dx9_43.dll DLL file individually from any "DLL download site." Downloading DLLs from these sites are never a good idea. If you've already downloaded d3dx9_43.dll from one of those DLL download sites, remove it from wherever you put it and continue with these steps.

I have tried Managed DirectX, SharpDX and I didn't succeed. (I don't care if they are obsolete, I don't need much from DirectX, only the basics, it's relatively simple app). For hiding the DLLs I'm embedding them into resources and loading them by AppDomain.AssemblyResolve event.

Managed DirectX. Generally works, on most BUT NOT ALL computers. There was a case that it wasn't working despite of that there were even 3D games installed (which install and run on DirectX, at least 9). The MS Managed DirectX was just NOT INSTALLED with the DirectX. Anyone knows why? Why some people have it and some don't? When I added the DLLs I needed into the folder with the app it was working fine, but when I've embedded them as resources, they couldn't load (even when I've extracted them to temp folder and tried to load from there). I've got an idea of how to resolve that, which may work, but my quesion is: will my Managed DirectX DLLs work on every CPU? (32/64 bit?). I had problems of this type before.

SharpDX. Doesn't work on most computers, even the modern ones. It requires a specific version of DirectX Runtime (June 2010) to be installed! If it's not, it's throwing exception about missing d3dx9_43.dll. Everyone have d3dx9.dll, but almost noone d3dx9_43.dll. Installing the specific version is their official solution for this problem... I don't know what were they thinking, but it's just not usable. Also there was a problem to load them from resources but I've managed to resolve that. When I've embedded the d3dx9_43.dll from my 32 bit system it was throwing a BadImageFormatException on 64 bit system, so I can't even put that file next to the app, not to mention embedding it or installing to SYSTEM32 directory where it should be (which would require Full Trust). There is another problem. Even if I would want to attach the DirectX June 2010 End-User Runtime, it's taking 95MB, which is MUCH too much (not to mention asking the user to download it...). Oh, and I also can't reset the device in SharpDX to go fullscreen (the same code worked just fine on Managed DirectX!) but I assume it CAN be fixed somehow...
