Regarding Oonosato, returning after missing two consecutive tournaments due to a left shoulder injury, he was praised for "doing a good job to be able to compete for 15 days." After a 9-6 record, including a losing start, he said, "I felt some anxiety. There were times when Oonosato showed the strong sumo of the past, but at the beginning, he showed sumo that lacked confidence and conviction in himself due to anxiety. I hope that the strong Oonosato will gradually emerge in the next tournament."
