The Haru jungyo starts on April the 2nd, with 8 kyujos: Takakeishou, Kiribayama, Wakatakakage, Tamawashi, Ounoshou, Meisei, Kagayaki, and Kotoshouhou. OTOH, Terunofuji is in although it's unknown if he will only do the dohyo-iri or will actually do some sumo as well. . From Juryo, eight rikishi will take part - Asanoyama (joining a jungyo for the first time in 3 years and 4 months), Gounoyama, Shounannoumi, Enhou, Chiyomaru, Kitanowaka, Shimazuumi, and Tochimusashi. 15 dates in all between April 2nd and April 30th. Two dates in the Tokyo area - April 16th in Machida and April 17th at the famed Yasukuni Shrine.
