As you could tell form the previous posts, Fujinokawa (Isenoumi beya) was busy training at Sadogatake beya today. He took part in a total of 10 bouts with other visiting rikishi. In addition, he had three bouts with Ozeki Kirishima and six bouts with Ozeki Kotozakura . Reflecting on his result of 8 wins and 11 losses in a total of 19 bouts, he said, "I lost too many times. Part of it was because I had many bouts with Ozeki. I was more focused on moving forward than on winning or losing. I was able to have nearly 20 bouts." The lodgings for the Nagoya basho of Isenoumi beya and Sadogatake beya are located about a 10-minute walk apart, and it is customary for him to visit Sadogatake beya for training before the Nagoya basho every year. This day was his second training session, following the one the previous day (the 1st). "I train here every year, so it feels like this is my training ground," he said with a smile. He plans to continue going for degeiko. After the keiko session, he walked back to his lodgings, covered in mud.
