Do not forward this to your batches, this is meant for your personal use.

Hello all,

So I'm drawing up a tentative list of Committees for which we'll invite volunteers. I hope I've covered all aspects of the fest, but if I haven't please get back to me with changes/ suggestions. After these have been incorporate I will send out a mail to the batches from the Summons Team id, inviting people to participate.

Ergo, I need you to hurry. I shall wait for you feedback till tonight (Tuesday).

Thanks!

Instead of one generic events committee, i think it's possible to have event specific committees. That way, there isn't a general pool of time-keepers, etc. but specific people allotted specific tasks. Of course, this can only come about once we've decided on the list of events.. but...

Under hospitality, or rather under every committee, one of the sub-committees should only deal with grievances. We're going to have several (as is my experience) and there should be a committee which basically is in problem-solving mode all the time, who's verdict on any matter is final.

Of course we need to expand on the Campus Stalls and the Concert Committee, but that I assume will be done in due course of time.

Under the events committee, we also need event-specific runners. Escorts with the team can't really be expected to know where there teams are supposed to be and in which events they're taking part. Escorts can just be their go-to guys on campus.

I also suggest we appoint a core committee. And to increase transparency and participation, it could consist of some members of the SBC, some conveners, but some interested students who have experience in organizing events as well.

That's pretty much it. This is actually shaping up well!
