Hello,
I am writing to propose the purchase of four American Flags for the front of our community. The recent take down (pole and flags now located behind the community signs) of the current marketing flags were showing signs of wear and tear and replacing it will enhance the appearance of our entrance and reflect our community's pride and patriotism.
The poles have been used and flags provided by the marketing team, The Moir Group for over 4 years. Many requests have been made to update with no action by The Moir Group. As you can see by the appearance of one of the flags below, it was a distraction from the beautification of our entrance and the pride we have for our community.
It's time for something desirable and beautiful.
After researching, I have identified a high-quality, durable flag and light that would be suitable for our community. While specifications of the flags and poles are located in the front of the community, at this time this is a suggested item to understand the cost only and a comprehensive look at the poles would be needed. Current flag specifications are as follows: 72" tall x 2" feet (does not include the 1" of branding where the holes are located.
- Vendor: Amazon - the DANF Flag Store
- Cost: $45.99 each
- Product: Cotton is the most favorable material for this location and is made in the USA.
To best honor our flag it is recommended to add a Solar Flag Pole Light. While specifications of the poles are located in the front of the community, at this time this is a suggested item to understand the cost only and a comprehensive look at the poles would be needed.
- Vendor: Amazon - Little Joke
- Cost: $15.99 each
I believe that purchasing new (American) flags is a small investment that will have a positive impact on our community's appearance and spirit and I would recommend approving this purchase at the earliest convenience and have our updated front entrance enhanced no later than July 4th, 2024.
Should the BOD not be in favor of this, I ask that the four poles and additional three flags be removed from the Summit Ridge property immediately.
Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to hearing from you.
