Welcome to the Summit County Digital Mobile Radio Group. Enjoy your stay here and feel free to ask questions or post announcements.

Our new DMR repeater is currently still in the "testing" phase but we are connected to the network and have increased it's output power to 25W (half full power). For a listing of Talk Groups available on the repeater please check www.K4USD.org, any TG's listed there are available on the repeater. Most of these groups are PTT groups so, with your radio set to the TG you wish to activate you will need to "kerchunk" the repeater to connect to that group. The Ohio TG and NA TG are the exception as they are full time to the repeater.

Don't forget the following DMR nets:

Saturdays 1700 UTC (12:00 PM EST) - World Wide (TG 1) turned on full time during the net

Sundays 0100 UTC (8:00 PM EST) - TAC310 (TG 310) turned on full time during the net

Tuesdays 0100 UTC (8:00 PM EST) - Texas (TG 3148) this is a great "technical" net, see their Facebook page "Brandmeister Talkgroup 3148"

1st and 3rd Wednesday (8:30 PM EST) - Ohio ARES Net (TG 3139) this TG is already full time on the repeater
