New codeplug released today 2-13-17.
A new codeplug has been uploaded to the files area today (2-13-17) that has some additional "fixes" and changes. The file is called MD390-plug_2-13-17.rdt
Here are the changes:
It was brought to my attention, thanks Brandon, that the Medina DMR-MARC machine wasn't working. Somehow along the way the frequencies for this machine were changed so I have entered the correct frequencies into this code plug and have it working again.
I have been in communication with our cBridge owner and he is willing to allow us to have an additional "Local 9" TG on TS1 so now we will have an additional Local9 TG using TS1 as well as the original on TS2. In preparation for this change I have added another Local 9 TG to the Akron U TS1. I will send out an update when it is OK to start using the Local 9 TG on TS1 but please don't use it until I am given the "go ahead" from our cBridge owner.
Another change to the codeplug is a "workaround" to allow you to get to the menu even if the channel you are on is busy. Several people, myself included, have noticed what a pain it can be to get to the menu when the channel that you are on is busy. A "workaround" I have found for this is to setup one of the programmable buttons to be a "Zone" button which allows you to change a zone even if the channel is busy. Unfortunately it just takes you to the next zone but hopefully the next zone you go to will not have activity, or be another repeater too far away to receive then you can use the menu to go to the zone that you want. I have programmed the button above the PTT to move to the next zone with a long (2 seconds or more) press.
The buttons are now programmed as follows:
Button above PTT - short press changes power level from HI to LOW and back long press (as mentioned above) changes to the next zone
Button below PTT - short press "manual dial for private" long press turns "scan mode" on and off
