Beforeinstalling it would say that no 2019 redist.. has been found on the system, which isn't the case. I tried removing the 2015-2019 file and installing individual redistributables for each year (2015 and 2017) but also didn't work, bit of a head scratcher. There is no single redistributable for 2019, its just the 3 in 1 version available, so to speak.

Try installing MySql Server using the installer rather than the whole package. It will show required minimum requirements and in case it does met, it will show the requirement which you can download directly from there using the icons from right.

I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 system running QB Pro 2010 desktop manager just fine. I wanted to install the Desktop Manager for QB Pro 2020 to get the server ready. At the point of installing the QuickBooks Runtime Redistributable, it spontaneously restarted the server. No warning, just POOF, "Restarting"! Fortunately, the client was gone for the day.

The server came back up fine and now shows "QuickBooks Runtime Redistributable" in Programs and Features (it is version 1.00.0000, which I find odd). I am now afraid to proceed for fear it could make the server unstable.

Well, dang! I had a reply all typed up and it didn't get posted. Long story short, I looked at Event Viewer and found a reference to the installer rebooting the server ***on its own*** without any warning whatsoever, making it look like a crash.

This happens if the Microsoft Visual C++ installation in your computer is damaged. This program is used to run QuickBooks and is automatically installed during QuickBooks installation. You can re-install it to start fresh.

Hmm, this is weird. Looking at Event Viewer, I am thinking this may not have been a crash, as much as it was, "I am going to reboot your server without the courtesy of asking you if it's OK to do so right now, whether you like it or not!" The reason I say this is at the time of the restart, there are several messages, one stating "Machine restart is required" followed by one stating "Windows Installer requires a system restart" and OMG, I just found it, "The Windows Installer initiated a system restart to complete or continue the configuration of 'QuickBooks Runtime Redistributable'."

Now that I have recovered from the stroke that your programmers gave me, I am installing QB 2020 database manager on that server. So far, so good, and no one is there in case it needs to do another unannounced reboot.

You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.

so i needed to install spore on a new pc through origin and i am having two issues, but i will address this more important one first. when i go to install Spore C&C, i get this error (in attached file)

however, Origin considers it "installed" and when i launch the game the DLC is not showing in game.

should be said i installed the base game first and then installed C&C after because i had had issues with then installing in the same go. but this problem persists whether or not they install 'together' or alone. i had no success to searching the exe name online so idk what to do!

MySQL required c++ redistributables, so I have installed both 2013 and 2015 redistributables, and the MySQL installer has successfully installed several programs, one of which being Workbench, but not MySQL Server.

Simply download the package for the CPU architecture which you do not already have installed and then afterwards re-run the MySQL Server install again and maybe the prerequisite check will pass.

I've recently purchased 'The Beat Goes On' bundle via Humble Bundle and the only issue I have is Acid Pro 8 installation (Acid Pro 8 Version 8.0.8 Build 29). Sound Forge Pro 12, Music Maker, MP3 Deluxe 19 and Acid Music Studio 10 have installed without issues and are working fine, but I always seem to have an issue trying to install Acid Pro 8. The system is running Windows 10 Pro (32-bit OS). On my other computer which is running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro has no issue whatsoever with Acid Pro 8, so not sure what the problem is.

(Update: 09/03/19) A bit of info I forgot to mention is during the Acid Pro 8 installation process before I get the error message, there's that part which says "The following components are required by this software: Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86)", at the bottom it says "Click Install to begin installing required components." and after I click "Install" I get the error message below.

What I don't get is why is the program still needing the required components (Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (x86).) when it's already installed? Doesn't matter what I do, whether I repair, reinstall or even remove the installed Visual C++ Redistributable, I still get the same outcome.

After communicating back and forth with MAGIX Pro Support via email, the last email I received from them (09/03/19) concluded that the issue I have is a known issue that happens with 32-bit systems and that the latest/last updated installer for Acid Pro 8 (version 8.0.8 Build 29) apparently fixed this issue for a lot of users, but occasionally still occurs. They also mentioned that if none of the previous fixes has helped, that it's unfortunate that they have no further solutions and recommended, if possible to install the 64-bit version of Acid Pro 8.

Obviously I cannot install/run 64-bit software on my 32-bit system, possible through a virtual machine, but that's a whole different story. Anyway, I replied back 10 hours later from receiving their last email asking if I could gain access to previous versions of AP8 so I could test them out and hopefully have a working AP8 on my 32-bit system. 2 days later and no response so I decided to search the internet for downloadable previous versions of Acid Pro 8. It didn't take long to find them and here are my findings below.

Acid Pro 8.0.7 Build 233 Installation: Unsuccessful

Same issue as I had with Acid Pro 8.0.8 Build 29, however when it reaches the installation of the required components of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, it will successfully install, but will fail to proceed with AP8 installation. Received the same error message I got with Acid Pro 8.0.8 Build 29 install, after I clicked close from a successful installation of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable.

Conclusion: I have a working Acid Pro 8 installed on my 32-bit system, currently running AP8 version 8.0.5 Build 226. I haven't had the chance to compare the different versions, but I guess I'm just content with having a working AP8 on my 32-bit system for now.

Okay, finally received a response email from MAGIX Pro Support 17 hours ago regarding this issue and they've replied saying that the previous versions of Acid Pro 8 would give the same problem with installation, but that wasn't true (Scroll up to see my findings).

Anyway, they have provided a solution to bypass the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable installation process and I was able to successfully upgrade from my installed Acid Pro 8 version 8.0.5 Build 226 to the latest version of Acid Pro 8.0.8 Build 29 without issues.

I simply did that obviously, but that did not simply work believe it or not. What may work for you, may not work for others like myself, if you read my post, you'll see I tried that, didn't work for me. Also, not sure why you decided to comment a year later, although I had already found a solution.

Hi, I wanted to install Acid 10 but nothing, it gives me the problem described above, I did everything I had to do but nothing, no results. Now, do you know how I can do it? Acid no longer installs me.

Hi, sorry I do not know the solution for your issue. This was my solution for the issue I had for Acid Pro 8 (32-bit). You could try starting a new post, try out the other suggestions in this thread or hopefully someone in the community or even MAGIX Pro Support can provide a solution, all the best!

We are running lot of production applications in Windows Server 2012. Now one of our application requires Visual C++ Redistributable -us/download/details.aspx?id=40784. I don't wanna my production running application affected. I mostly running IIS/ASP.NET application with .NET framework 4.6. So, is there any risk of installing this?

I have been having this problem installing Premiere Pro 2014 and 2015. Whenever it gets to installing the redistributable package of 2012, it gets stuck. I manually installed it myself, but still the install is stuck on that part. I restarted several times, uninstalled the redistributables, then reinstalled them. None of it seems to work.
