Update 7.1: More photos

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to send a nice before and after photo of the berms as I think it really helps show just how much snow builds up every year here. 

The first is the snowmobile berm in January 2023 (photo credit to Anna!), and the right is the snowmobiles in December 2023. None of this snow accumulation will melt away this summer, as it is well below freezing temps all year. So this much snow has accumulated this year, and more will come next year. In this way the glacier here 'accumulates' snow and ice continually burying the surface, at around 2 meters per year.
