Hello!

I recently discovered a fun service opportunity on JustServe - making treats!

Homemade cookies needed for Programs at Family Promise - JustServe

This homeless support shelter asks for ongoing donations of baked or bought treats for their programs and dinners. There are a few different kinds of donations - i've been doing the 3 dozen one, but there are also signups for larger amounts.

I personally like baking so this has been a fun thing for me to start, but really it's not limited to cookies. The contact there is so nice and helpful. You do have to make a volunteer account but it's free and easy and you can see all options for shifts (there are weekend and weekday shifts available) - this is ongoing!

Just thought I would share in case anyone likes making treats and would like a simple service opportunity.
