Hi everyone,
For several years now, our stake has been an active participant in a really meaningful event to help those in our community who are experiencing homelessness. On July 24, Project Homeless Connect offers a space right here in Tigard for homeless folks to gain
access to vital resources all in one location. Please see the video below to get an idea of what this day entails.
As part of this event, the participants will be fed a grab-n-go type lunch while they are on site. Our ward has been asked to provide cookies, brownies, etc. for this event which will feed approximately 500 people. If you would be willing to participate,
we are looking for 12-14 people to each provide 4 dozen cookies/brownies/bars/treats the day
before the event on
July 23rd. You are welcome to drop the treats off at my home (I am happy to pick them up as well if needed) on the 23
rd and I will deliver them to the event site that evening. If you are interested or have further
