the 50 miler. So that means we no longer are bound by the constraints
of having to do a trip that involves a transfer/rendezvous point.
Consequently I'll revise the itinerary a bit where we won't do a trail
that Joe or Scott have ever been on before. :)
It'll be in the same general area of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
I'll do some research tonight, tomorrow night or Friday. (I have
combined activity tonight and I have work party Thursday evening).
Thinking of the same area but starting at Necklace Valley and ending
at Cathedral Rock trailhead. That way we end up keeping the pick up I
have already arranged. This will mean that I'll have to do something
like meet Joe and Boise folks in Cle Elum and drive them down to
Issaquah, so that on the exit day they can just head out from the
trailhead vs. having to come all the way back down to Issaquah.

Its with great sadness that I announce it looks like the 50 miler is
going to be canceled due to not being able to have enough young men
attending. Busy work schedules and vacations make it hard to
coordinate and fit everything in. We'll try again next year.
