Mark - you've gone stark, raving, mad . . .

Just kidding. Was on tabletop Monday and thought of you. Larry Phair
gave a great fireside the other night, on the faith of a scientist. He
illustrated the concept of faith using the search for heavy elements as
an example, talking about work he had done to validate research at Cal
around element 118 (the data had been falsified). Really great stuff.
He also talked about "dark matter" and it's similarity to what spirit
matter as described in the D&C. You might bug him to send you the
slides.

Had a great time in the city for Kim's b-day. Always nice to getaway.
Don't think I'll be running the 53 miles to Mountain View anytime soon
though. Cya later . . .
