Help me get to Copenhagen!

Dear friend,

This December, I have the great privilege of coordinating a delegation of 18 amazing students from all over the US to the United Nations Climate Negotiations in Copenhagen, Denmark. The delegation is being orchestrated through the Sierra Student Coalition (www.ssc.org), the nation's largest youth run environmental organization that strives to engage, empower, and organize youth through grassroots training and campaigns. Over the past few years, I have become extremely passionate and dedicated to the global environmental movement both within and outside the SSC by mobilizing my peers, taking on leadership roles, holding internships, developing organizations, and organizing events. As a part of an empowered generation that recognizes that we will have to inherit the challenges of global climate change, I am thrilled at this opportunity to represent my peers in this critical moment in history.

I am writing because in order to cover logistical costs of leading the delegation to Copenhagen, I will need to fundraise at least $2500. I have very few sources of funding, and am incredibly grateful for your generosity- donations of any size are welcome.
