Hi all,
After spending two awesome months together, I think we all sort of feel like the Summer of Solutions was a raging success. One thing we've been talking about with the development of Grand Aspirations is the power of telling our story. As a Grand Aspirations "project," it's important to demonstrate our success, both in the traditional productive sense and in the strong community we've built.
SO. I'm asking a few individuals to sum up (haha) what you did during the Summer of Solutions, what benefits you got out of it, what benefits the world got out of it, your general feelings towards the summer, and so on. I'm not sure how extensive this will be, so write as little or as much as you wish. I'd also appreciate any photos that you might've taken of us working, having fun, etc. that you don't mind being displayed on the Grand Aspirations webpage.

I think this sounds awesome! Stories are great and we definitely need to tell ours of this summer.
I also think that I took a lot of pictures this since I've been here, and the main reason I do that is to share them :) So I'd like to have an awww mushy gushy photo slideshow of our summer before we all take off! I was thinking maybe Thursday night after the potluck or Friday day or evening.
Does anyone have any input on when would work best? Does anyone have any pictures they'd like to add to it? Also, I was thinking of trying to get some sort of projector and project them on a wall somewhere. Any ideas on how to make that happen? Let me know! I'd really love to put something together for us to share. And Kai, I can definitely send some pictures your way for the GA website.

How about Thursday evening for pictures, etc? I think Matt leaves on Friday and I’ll be heading out around noonish too.

wondering if anyone is going to do this...Also, it might be a good
idea for someone to make a post for it's getting hot in here...Any
thoughts?
