Hi CEF, ARISE, Grand Aspirations, and Summer of Solutions folks,
Christie Manning and I are working on an Op-Ed campaign to define in a simple and easily accessible manner what we've been doing for the past few years and what we see as a way forward. As such, we're brainstorming a clearly-defined concept (ie a word or short phrase) for what it is that we do/ are trying to create. We're holding this session at 10:50 AM tomorrow (Wednesday morning) to throw out, discuss, and integrate various ideas. After a quick discussion, we decided that 3-4 was an ideal size for this activity, so if 1-2 of you are particularly interested in sitting around throwing out ideas and discussing them, let me know.
We also want to draw input from a much larger group than the small number of participants in the activity. So you're invited to send me 1-5 words or short phrases that you feel powerfully define what we're doing. What we're eventually aiming for is central, clear frame that can be easily communicated and can hold the depth and breadth of what we're trying to do - ie to make it accessible to the majority of folks. Please throw out ideas/ concepts that we've already developed (wecan, people power, etc. - although I'll bring in all the concepts you think I'm likely to bring in), but also any words, phrases, or central ideas that you think would be powerful for most people. We're very aware that both of us (and all of you) are not representative of the people we're trying to communicate with, so please be aware of broader accessibility in any ideas.
1-5 words or short phrases - send to me by Wednesday 10AM Central (or tonight) if you've got them. If you want to be part of the brainstorm, let me know and join us at 10:50AM in Christie's office (Olin Rice 231) tomorrow.

Hey Timothy,
Here's what I can think of off the top of my head:
Mobilizing, creating infrastructure, and transitioning to a unified global sustainable paradigm.
More to come later if I think of anything.
