Work with a small dedicated team of nonprofit attorneys and support staff helping immigrants gain legal status in the United States.
Catholic Charities Center for Immigration Legal Services and Support provides free and reduced fee legal help and other support to immigrants in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties.
Our Removal Defense team prepares cases for immigration court, and interns would be assisting with researching country conditions related to asylum applications and legal issues for pre-hearing briefs. We offer close interaction with the legal team, inclusion in all training and team meetings, and real experience working with immigrants.
Spanish speaking applicants a plus.
