Querry about SUMA

Hello
If we upgrade SUMA to another version, will data be lost?
Also, how does suma store the data(what kind of database does it use? Is it real-time? Do we have backups?)

Typically, Suma data is stored in an external MySQL database, so upgrading the software will not cause any data loss. I strongly recommend that you work with someone who is familiar with your database server and any related backup programs, though.
