Is there a way to delete initiatives that were set up for the purpose of example? I have included some screen shots. If I disable one initiative it disables them all.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you can familiarize yourself with the way the database is set up in the back end then you can delete the entries from there, but it could take some time and it isn't recommended if you don't know database architecture. I did that when clearing out some old test counts.

Otherwise, if you need certain activities to remain active within the initiative then it would probably be best to either disable the individual activities or use a different initiative if you want a cleaner report. I'm still fairly new at the admin side though so if someone more familiar has a better suggestion, please have at it.

Ian's answer is correct. To give a little context, we were deliberately very conservative when it came to allowing deletions within Suma. This is because deleting locations, activities, or initiatives can strand counts--leaving past counts more or less unrecoverable. I recommend disabling/deactivating anything that you no longer need. It will no longer show in the data collection client and can just be moved to the bottom of the admin interfaces if it's distracting.

Thanks,
Jason

It didn't seem to let me disable one without disabling all of them. Is there a way to fix that?

Huh, that's strange. I've never heard of this behavior before. I just tried it on a test instance and everything worked as expected (only the one initiative was disabled). The admin interface is not great, though. One thing that just tricked me, despite all my years of using this, was that after selecting another initiative from the drop-down, I still had to click the button to view that initiative. So, at first, I thought that the other initiatives had been disabled. It's an unlikely guess, but here's hoping...
