I have developed a web app using the MERN stack.This website is: www.javascriptmazes.com . For some reason when I open that link on my Laptop's browser, everything works as expected. However when I try to open the same website on my mobile (Samsung) phone the page does not load properly and I end up seeing just the white background of the browser.

I don't know exactly how to debug on mobile phones since I always do my debugging on my laptop.However I went to this website and tried to load the said web link on the emulator and the error messages displayed are:

My laptop is the Lenovo IdeaPad Z510 Notebook, that has Corei7, 16GB memory(upgraded), and on SSD(updraded), running Win10(initially Win8.1), GeForce GT 740M Graphics.
has the latest downloaded Chrome Browser.

On the other hand, i have a desktop computer, an HP ProDesk 600 G1 DM, Core i5, 16gb memory running Win7 Pro, internal graphics card of Intel (R) HD 4600. with the same version of chrome browser installed. - running SketchUp Free on my desktop is smooth as butter no lags, no slowness, no WebGL problems. perfect in running SketchUp Free.

Web browsers have a thin implementation layer on top of WebGL that might cause differences (e.g. some web browsers even black-list graphics hardware; or support slow software rendering as fallback). Have you tried a different browser, like e.g. Firefox, just to see if it makes a difference?

If you have dual graphics hardware (processor-integrated chip and dedicated NVIDIA card) ensure that the browser actually uses the dedicated card for WebGL (although an integrated chip should perform well with the empty default model).

regarding your question, YES, even on light loads, simple rendering.
I have not tried any other browser. - will try to use firefox.
I have tried to disable the Hardware acceleration, to remove getting WebGL errors, but that caused more slowness.

I bought a new laptop three days ago - Dell Inspirion 7577. I installed Windows 10 and drivers. I am only surfing the Internet for now and my fans are relatively loud which I find awkward for such a simple task for the hardware of that laptop. Is that normal?

Some of the sites you go to may be running Monero - use browser extensions like No Coin and AdBlock Plus. If you're using Chrome, use the builtin Chrome Task Manager to see which sites are using the most resources. Finally, if you're using many tabs, you might consider running fewer tabs.

I'm not sure if this is a "How do I" (if the functionality already exists) or a "Feature Request" (if it doesn't), but I was just trying to log in to a website on my laptop that will only send OTP passwords via SMS and doesn't let me store it in 1Password (or any other authenticator app).

On the 1Password mobile app it will detect this SMS message when it arrives and enter it into a Safari browser on the phone, but if I'm trying to log into the site in Chrome on my laptop I have to open the SMS message and re-type the 6-digit code manually on my laptop.

Maybe I'm missing something, but it would be really handy if the 1Password mobile app could sync the 6-digit passcode into a temporary item in my online 1Password vault, and the Chrome plug-in on my laptop spot the new item and enter it into the current page (or offer to enter it, maybe, in case I'm on a different website).

This works great for phone-based web browsing, but it would be great to get a similar capability on my laptop - I don't know if this is even technically possible, but the thought process is that the 1Password iOS Mobile App could also extract these codes from SMS messages and sync them to my online vault so I could use them from 1Password for Windows when I'm trying to log on from my laptop - e.g.:

I have an Inspiron 15 N5010, with Windows7 Home Premium (svc pack 1). The Internet Explorer 11 browser seemed unstable so at one time I had installed Chrome. A few weeks ago it seems I lost sound in both web browsers completely, but I still have system sounds, and itunes audio as well. I could be wrong, and would gladly be corrected, but from my understanding real, coded web pages should behave responsively as a browser window is resized, they should not scale up or down proportionally. This is similar to what we do when we set our constraints in Figma. So when a browser window is resized, although elements will move around, it should not affect the text size.

I recommend that size because it usually scales up really well, the same sizes look good in a Full HD monitor. However, when I get a design created in frames of 1920x1080, they are already too big for laptop screens, in which case I usually have to resize the elements 80% so that they look good on laptops.

You set your breakpoints in multiples of 320. So the first one will be 640 and that covers tiny tablet devices. Next one from that is 960 which is larger tablets and tiny laptops. Then comes the first major one, 1280. This covers standard size laptops. From there, you move up to 1,600 and 1920. Double 1920 to get 3860 or true 4K displays. You can keep going up from there but that is not very practical.

Starting a few days ago, videos won't successfully play in any browser. I'm using KDE and Pulseaudio, Firefox is my usual browser but I tried on Konqueror and Google Chrome, with no luck. I first noticed it while watching a company training video on a work site, and assumed they just had stricter DRM and went to a windows computer for it, but a few days later I noticed it YouTube did not work in any of the browser listed above. Clearing the cache and cookies from a web browser is an important first-step for almost any troubleshooting for internet browsing. So, why is Chrome eating through your battery quicker than other internet browsers? The problem is down to something called the "system clock tick rate". This is something that Windows uses internally that you won't hear about unless you go looking. What Chrome does, as soon as it is opened, is set the rate to 1.000ms. The idle, under Windows, should be 15.625ms. The numbers are a bit confusing, but it's what's happening that matters here rather than the figures themselves.

So, what about other browsers? Well, when you open the most recent version of Internet Explorer, the rate stays at 15.625ms until the browser needs to do something where the rate must increase. If you go to YouTube, say, and play a video IE will increase the rate to 1.00ms. When you shut that tab, and carry on with normal browsing, it will return to 15.625ms. In Chrome though, it is increasing the rate as soon as the browser is opened, and it keeps it high until you shut the browser completely.

Many people - like me - will never shut the browser. For one, I use Gmail as my main email, so I need to have a browser open for that. My writing is usually done in Google Drive, so there's almost no point where I don't have my web browser open. This means, if I'm using Chrome that the browser is eating more than its fair share of battery power, and for no good reason.
