..:::JAY LEGASPI:::..
http://JayLegaspi.BlogSpot.com

Jay Legaspi is a singer-songwriter from the meansest streets of the suburbs of New Jersey. As he writes this biography, he is of course, laughing at his own joke - for anyone who has ever been to his side of the tracks will be quick to attest to the fact that those tracks are indeed the proverbial right side of them. And not that he's trying to brag or anything, but to say differently would be to make a mockery of all the hard work his parents and family put into coming from his second home of the Philippines - and as any Filipino knows... that's just not right.

Jay grew up in a musical household, picking up the guitar in grade school in a feeble attempt to be like his father, a classically trained guitarist who introduced his children to the likes of John Williams, Bach, and Mozart. Jay, however, tended to lean more towards the likes of Billy Joe Armstrong, Robert Smith, and European composers primarily invested in techno and not string arrangements.

Jay also grew up listening to hip-hop, with his first real performance experience bein in the ciphers and circles where people would show off their skills in breakdancing. Later, he would take up DJing and rapping.

If there is anything Jay would like to say about his music, it's that he wants to do his best to reflect the way he grew up musically - reflecting his love of music from artists ranging from John Mayer to Aesop Rock. He also strives to write music for people to grow up to, hoping that people can listen to his music at a certain time of their life and relate to what he writes, but also know that life is more than just that breakup song, that song about independence, and that song about getting the fuck out of wherever it is they are at that point. He honestly hopes that you can see the transitions of where he is in his life in his music so that people can ride with him and vice versa, wherever their lives take them.

..:::JACKIE MARIANO:::..

Jackie Mariano can do a lot of cool things with a microphone. Jackie is a writer who has been experimenting with how to share her work out loud ever since her high school hay days as the captain of the Brooklyn Tech speech team. She has attempted spoken word, stand-up comedy, and singing along with poignant guitar accompaniment. Her latest experiment is hip-hop and emceeing. She doesn't really have a favorite form of expression, as long as her voice is heard and folks are listening. Jackie is a member of Filipinas for Rights and Empowerment (FiRE- GABRIELA USA). She will always rep Queens hard, and the Philippines harder.

..:::TRIANGLE OFFENSE:::..

Triangle Offense (TO) is a rap trio from Jersey City, New Jersey. The triple threat comprised of Adonis, Sci and Finesse each actively rap and produce.

Inspired by such artists as Passion Pit, Far East Movement and Theophilus London the trio has established a style all their own. Their rap tracks feature R&B and dance elements and their style can be described as rap infused with pop/dance elements. TO’s primary goal is to fill the void of Asian artists in the rap world, while simultaneously creating their own lane with which to travel.

Triangle Offense owns their project from beginning to end as they write, produce and rap over their tracks. Among their achievements are having debut performances alongside DJ Nano and DJ Roli Rho in the club scene across New Jersey and Manhattan. Additionally, TO is scheduling more performances at clubs and colleges within the NY and NJ area, building their fan base.

Triangle Offense is currently finishing up their first album in which they used only 120 BPMs in different arrangements for all of the tracks.

“Fashion is sound to your eyes, and music is color to your ears.”
