The Certificate course in Agroecology is back after a two-year break!
Candidates with a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university should apply with a letter of intent and CV by 20th December 2024, by email to

The Course this time, is being organised in a hybrid format, by Welthungerhilfe (
https://welthungerhilfeindia.org/initiative/action-reflection-based-agroecology-courses/) in collaboration with Farmer organisations, Civil society organisations & enterprises with experience in Agroecology - Ayang Trust Assam, Farm 2 Food Foundation Assam, Nature Farm West Bengal, Paushtik Life West Bengal, Pragati Odisha, Pravah Jharkhand, Wild Trust Bihar and Sambhaav Trust Rajasthan - who are all alumni of the same Course.
The Course will involve about 2 months of online course work with assignments and about 1 month field work with any of the above CSO partners in locations which span western, central, eastern and north-eastern India.
The Course is meant for youth/beginners, who want to get started on Agroecology - both on their own farm or with farmers, or beyond the farm in terms of research, teaching or enterprises around Agroecology. The Course as such is free, and students only have to cover their travel, lodging and boarding expenses (as per actuals) during the field work segment.
Faculty for the online segment, will include a range of practitioners, academicians and researchers.
