Join us for 4 days of creative, ritualistic clay work in self-sustainable Ayee village in the Nubra Valley, Ladakh where time slows and the soil speaks.
This will be a reconnection to the land — through clay work, nature rituals, land art, and community living.
Over 4 days, we’ll:
○ Shape clay with intention and intuition in guided sessions
○ Live with and learn from locals while participating in village life
○ conduct grounding rituals and go on beautiful hikes to get to know the land
○ visit culturally and spiritually important landmarks
○ And finally, create a collective earth offering! A clay sculpture incorporated into the landscape that will serve as an altar to Mother Earth.
This workshop will be facilitated by Melanie Baume, a travelling artist passionate about clay, art, regenerative living and permaculture.
No prior art experience needed, just curiosity and creative exploration, and a longing to slow down and remember.
