Dear Friends,

If you could just update me on eco villages or intentional communities based in India, it would be great.
I am uploading the links on our website.

Another community/organic farm/NGO (you could even consider it an ecovillage in a broader sense) that has been around for over 20 years is the Timbaktu Collective in Anantapur Distt of AP founded and run by some friends of mine. I have been there about 10 times. They do some very good work there which you can find on their website.

Sandeep,

Thanks for responding to Sushant's request.
Regarding "theworld ismyfamily" :

The sulins google-groups mailing list, of about 170 odd mail ids on date,
has remained unmoderated and open to all, except for some trivial
screening irrelevant spam that happens to come to the notice of the mailing list admins.

Sulins who have committed funds to participating on the sulins eco-village
initiative are a subset of the above mailing list (of over 30 persons as on date).

Thus the usual commonsense disclaimers apply... like views expressed by the
posters are their individual views and the sulins group is merely facilitating
an online meeting place for exchanges between many like minded people.

Sushant utilized the open policy of the sulins forum to share his initiatives
viz. theworld ismyfamily, and solicit participation there. Just like you, Sandeep,
many other Sulins also queried us off the list on this confusion.

I hope this posting helps clarify the context.

I take this opportunity to request and urge all on this list (including Sushant)
to please avoid very lengthy signatures. Please try to be considerate
to others on this one-to-many channel by keeping your signature lines as
brief as practical, perfereably to five lines or less please.

I also urge all to be sensitive to avoid doing one-to-one conversations
via the forum postings and taking them off line as soon as any exchanges
on the threads here change from one-to-many to one-to-one.

Cheers,
VK
