I wish there was a smell feature to go with these photos because the delish scent of this citrus and cranberry easy overnight monkey bread is just heavenly. Every buttery bite of sweet-tart monkey bread just melts in your mouth and tastes like the holidays.

Cut 24 partially thawed frozen rolls in half to make the bites of this monkey bread more manageable. I find it's easiest to work with frozen roll dough when it is still frozen or partially frozen so it doesn't stick to itself.

If you are looking for a twist on my 5 Ingredient Monkey Bread, you have got to try this ooey-gooey, citrusy pull-apart roll. Yes, my Orange Monkey Bread has 6 ingredients rather than 5, but it is still super easy and a no-fail recipe! You may even want to try my Homemade Monkey Bread if you are feeling up to making your own, from scratch, monkey bread. Another favorite bread of mine to make is my Apple Fritter Bread!

Spray your bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray and place the frozen rolls in the pan. Sprinkle the orange zest and butterscotch pudding (cook & serve only, not instant) over the rolls. Off to the side, in a medium bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, and orange extract. Pour this butter mixture over the rolls, cover with a greased piece of foil, and let it sit in a warm area overnight (8-10 hours). After the 8-10 hours, bake at 350F for 25 minutes. Invert the rolls onto a plate and serve them warm. Be ready for fingers to grab these Orange Monkey Bread up in no time!

Every other time I have made the bread in a regular size bundt pan, the bread twists and turns and forms itself into bite-size pull away pieces. (Or, what a monkey bread traditionally looks like.) I have also made these in an 88 and 913 pan, which work equally well.

I love orange rolls. I think I almost prefer orange rolls over cinnamon rolls. There is just something about the sweet glaze with a hint of orange in it that I love. These cute little things turned out fantastic! I loved being able to pull apart the little pieces and they were oh so gooey and delicious!

I now make this every year for Christmas brunch. It is a family favorite. I have made it in the bundt pan, and have also made it in individual giant muffin format. Love the orange caramel that develops if all goes well. Thanks for this version of this fun and easy baked good.

Though I tend to be more of a traditional cinnamon roll kind of gal, I'm not one to turn down an orange roll. Throwing a can of those puppies in the oven became a quick and easy way to let this man know I love him, particularly in the early part of our relationship when we rarely woke before 10am on a non-work day (and I'm not even talking about the very beginning when we both worked at a restaurant and spent many nights living it up until dawn in NYC- waking before noon was unheard of in those days!).

Back to my food-filled daydreams, it was at that moment that it occurred to me: why not use Orange Rolls to make an easy monkey bread?! I mean, what usually happens when great things combine forces? The answer is usually great things. This case was no exception.

You still have the same ooey-gooey goodness, but with the most delicious and distinct orange flavor. Speaking of flavor, I think the addition of the orange zest and the fresh squeezed juice really elevates this and makes it taste extra special, as any good Christmas morning food should!

Biscuits are one of my favorite breakfast or brunch items, and canned biscuits from the refrigerated section makes this an easy Cranberry Orange Monkey Bread. The biscuits are tossed with a mixture of granulated sugar, cinnamon and orange zest. When zesting, make sure you only get the zest and not the white bitter pith of the orange.

The cranberry-orange combination is such a classic holiday flavor combination. You could enjoy it alongside my Cranberry Orange Meltaways or with a Cranberry Orange Madras Cocktail. I would personally choose a White Cranberry Moscow Mule to have with brunch.

Traditional monkey bread uses brown sugar, butter and cinnamon for the sauce. I opted for a different route this time. The molasses flavor in the brown sugar could overpower the orange and cranberries, so granulated sugar was the best option. Salted butter, cinnamon and fresh-squeezed orange juice are melted with the sugar for a delicious, fragrant sauce. Vanilla extract is added off the heat, after everything is melted and combined

Some monkey species are born with bright orange fur; the coat color would gradually turn black as they age. However, some New-world monkeys continue to have orange fur throughout their lives.

This Orange Monkey Bread is made with butter, sugar, biscuits, orange zest and fresh orange juice. You bite into a sweet and delicious citrus flavor with a surprise cream cheese center.

My name is Diane from Recipes for our Daily Bread. I am excited about sharing this Orange Monkey Bread with you. If you enjoy oranges, you will love this citrus monkey bread. It is a delicious breakfast or brunch treat.

'Jelly Bean Orange' is another selection from the Jelly Bean Series of hybrid monkey flowers. Chosen for its compact habit and heavy display of large, bright-orange frilly blossoms. Monkey flowers are a useful group of free flowering, drought tolerant, native sub-shrubs that bloom spring through summer. Best with good drainage, light shade and careful watering. Monkey flowers do best with an occasional deep watering in the summer and pinching to form good support for the profuse blossoms. Bees, butterflies and hummingbirds work the flowers and the painted lady and checkerspot butterflies use it as a larval food source. Deer resistant.

I knew a monkey bread recipe could be made in a slow cooker, so I decided to put an inspired spin on the classic by inviting cranberries and oranges to the party. The result: monkey bread with the sweet stickiness you love, plus an unexpectedly bright and bold flavor. The touch of tartness is a welcome break from the rich sweetness of most holiday desserts.

Shake quartered dinner rolls in a delicious combination of sugar and freshly zested orange, and then place the rolls in your slow cooker that contains a brown sugar sauce made with butter, orange zest, and dried cranberries.

You can serve this monkey bread from the slow cooker, however, I like to flip the whole thing onto a serving tray. For me, seeing all that caramelized goodness from the bottom of the pan is one of the best parts of a monkey bread recipe.

The green monkey orange (Strychnos spinosa Lam., Loganiaceae), a tree indigenous to tropical and subtropical Africa, produces juicy, sweet-sour, yellow fruits containing numerous hard brown seeds. The species has recently been introduced into Israel as a potential new commercial crop. However, little is known about its agronomical performance, fruit development and ripening, or postharvest physiology. The current study shows that during ripening in storage, the peel color changes from green to yellow, accompanied by a climacteric burst of ethylene and carbon dioxide emission. Total soluble solids slightly increased during storage, whereas total titratable acidity and pH did not change significantly. The major sugars that accumulated during ripening in storage were sucrose, glucose, and fructose, and the main acids, citric and malic acids. The main volatiles present in the peel of ripe fruits were phenylpropanoids, trans-isoeugenol being the major compound.

This paper studied the nutritional impact of the use of juice from Strychnos cocculoides (monkey orange) in a maize-based porridge. Monkey orange juice is traditionally used to supplement maize porridge - a staple breakfast cereal especially for vulnerable groups. Monkey orange fruits contain high amounts of micronutrients and phenolic compounds and are widely distributed throughout sub-Saharan Africa. The valuable components can be efficiently extracted by traditional and pectinase maceration techniques. The bioaccessibility of minerals and main phenolic compounds in maize porridge (5 g maize meal) supplemented by monkey orange juice (100 ml) were assessed after in-vitro digestion together with the kinetics of starch degradation. Caffeic and protocatechuic acids exceeded 100%, and chlorogenic acid 81% bioaccessibility after simulated intestinal digestion. Rutin was undetected after the simulated intestinal phase due to precipitation in the pellet. In-vitro bioaccessibility of minerals ranged from 12 to 62% in monkey orange enriched porridge. A 50-70% decrease of starch hydrolysis was observed at the end of the simulated intestinal digestion of monkey orange maize porridge confirming the known potential of phenolic compounds to decrease the glycaemic index of starch-rich foods. Consequently monkey orange juice appeared a suitable ingredient to enrich staple maize porridge thanks to its micronutrients and health benefit potential. Similar relationships of other fruits and starchy foods warrant study as a means to improve the nutritional quality of the diets of malnourished populations.
