(a)  There is now evidence to suggest that pressure on Indira Gandhi made sure that no more "peaceful" nuclear tests were carried out.
(b)  Needless to say, nobody was fooled.
(c)  The 1974 nuclear test was described by the Indian Government as a "peaceful" nuclear explosion.
(d)  This time round there has been no playing around with words.

Acc. 2 me Bhai option c most general stmnt hai, to either it will be at first or last so, 1st option ruled out.
b and a have some link then only option b sud be correct.
