The question is correct i guess.
A/Q,

3/4(SP)= 96/100(CP)

=> SP/CP= 96/100 X 4/3

Now If he sells it in SP then Profit =(SP-CP)/CP X 100
=> (SP/CP-1) X 100

Substituting , we ll get 28% profit
Is it correct ?

RVP. 2(b) pg 19.
Q25. If (x+y) varies directly as (x-y) then (x²+y²) will directly vary as?
A) x²-y²   B) xy   C)A and B   D)none of these

Q26. A varies directly as the sum of the two quantities B and C. B in turn varies directly as x and C varies inversely as x. When x=2, A=6 when x=4, A=9. Find value of A when x=16.
A)2½   B)1   C)8½   D)32½

Shortest ways for these questions?
